We played at Parkers Lighthouse again Friday night. It has become our little tradition to order some sushi from the happy hour menu before downbeat. Top notch sushi IMHO. The gig was fun. Especially since we took the new prius!!!
Goodbye Camry!!!! you were so good to me. I didn’t want to give you up but the cost of repairing/servicing you didnt make sense. I’ll miss you! Hopefully you move on to a good owner.
Today I did my usual church gig in the morning running sound and headed to Mickie Finnz in Redondo to play some solo pan from 3-6p.

We are back at Parker’s Lighthouse for the Friday Calypso nights. Opened up with a Ceviche roll (highly recommended) Played a few sets, and closed with a funnel cake (delicious, but i think my heart beats slower now)
Time flew by, it was a great gig. Kids dancing. lots of applause.
Tomorrow Im off to Redondo beach early for an private event.

Tonight we played our regular Thursday night at Mickie Finnz in Redondo Beach. Before the gig, we stopped off at Korea Garden BBQ in Torrance and had some awesome korean food. The gig was cool, lobster zone was goin off, dancing drunk people… Special thanks to phil and the band for makin it happen.

Today I did my usual church gig from 8-12 in Long Beach, but this time I ran sound AND played drums for the service.
After that I stopped by Parkers lighthouse to pick up a check and grab some awesome sushi for lunch
Then I went off to Mickie Finnz in Redondo to play their Sunday happy hour. 3-6pm. Thanks to uncle Rande, Carol, Erica and friends for coming out and supporting Nu Pan!
Crazy week! Six gigs between Wednesday and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are generally my “weekends” now. Looking forward to surfing and workin around the house!

Today I drove down to San Diego to play for a wedding on Breaker Beach on the Coronado naval base. There was some fierce traffic but I managed to make it there on time and played for the pre ceremony, processional, cocktail hour, and dinner music. Phew!
Congrats to Maura and Aaron, I had a good time playing for your wedding!

Today we joined up with Phil and Steel Parade at Mickie Finnz fish house and bar to play our regular Thursday night gig. Yesterday I also picked up a new IPhone 4, and its awesome! Pictures and video are a huge improvement and the flash makes it possible now to get decent shots in low light situations.

Today we played a event at Parker’s Lighthouse in Long Beach. It was a crazy Oyster eating contest! The winning contestant ate 122 Oysters in 10 minutes. Gross! It was hot today but everyone had a blast!
